Jobs & training

The National Careers Service are connected to a plethora of organisations offering learning, training and employment opportunities across the region, as well as in  the Lyng area.

If you would like some additional support, their qualified Careers Advisors would be happy to conduct a 121 career management session by telephone helping you to identify which career path you might like to pursue, assist with CV building and much more.

Ongoing support is available for up to 12 months and Career Advisors can refer you onto suitable courses for learning (if required) and present you with a range of job vacancies, which you can apply for relating to your skills set. They also hold regular webinars as a gateway to learn more about certain sectors before applying for those learning or job opportunities, for example preparing potential applicants to work in various sectors, Care, Civil Service, Self-Employment, as well the Kickstart webinars they are currently running.
